Stories Upstairs

From 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., seven days a week, you can visit our bright bookstore at the Persephone beer farm in Gibsons and discover our carefully curated sections of page-turners, comfort reads, literature in translation, deep dives and more. We also have plenty of stories about exploring the Sunshine Coast, from its shorelines to literary culture.

Whether you’re heading to the ferry and need a snack and a read to bring with you (did we mention Persephone has their own chef producing delicious food, too?), or are about to enjoy a few quiet days in nature, we look forward to welcoming you to Upstart Upstairs!
