Description
NEXT EVENT: Wednesday, March 27, 6 to 8 p.m.
These are times of crisis and upheaval. We’re seeing genocides perpetrated, inequality on the rise, and climate disaster unchecked by leaders. We know that in such days, gathering together with others committed to change is an important part of maintaining resilience and doing our part to make the world as it could be.
That’s why we’re hosting a new monthly evening event, where we open our studio doors and gather to write letters and work on advocacy. It’s free and open to all, no RSVP required. We welcome anyone who wants to write to their elected leaders calling for any kind of social change, or practice writing scripts for calling their politicians directly, or simply read and reflect with intention.
Bring your own computer, but we provide pens, paper, envelopes and stamps as needed. You are welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks into the studio.
These are difficult and often lonely times, and we hope this will be a way for folks who want to make change to gather and be accountable together. Hope to see you there, and send any questions to hello@upstartandcrow.com.
