Bompa's Insect Expedition
“Bompa’s Insect Expedition is such a fun, almost non-fiction, volume… As Bompa narrates the bug world, the twins, armed with magnifying glasses, backpacks, and safari hats, crawl around following ant trails, wade through grasses swaying over their shoulders, and swat at mosquitoes. [B]elongs with Diary of a Spider by Doreen Cronin and other insect picture books that subtly teach bug facts while adventuring with the insects.” —Youth Services Book Review, STARRED review
