Description
Join us on Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m. for a journey of embarrassments! Dina Del Bucchia and Daniel Zomparelli, the authors of two brand-new poetry collections with Talonbooks, will lead us in a discussion about the awkward in modern art. How do we use the thing we dread most to make poetry? Let’s talk about it!
The writers will read from their old and more recent work, along with works of other artists to demonstrate how embarrassment can become fodder for art and comedy. And if you have a poem about embarrassment and want to read it at the event, please let us know! Email dmzomparelli@gmail.com with your poem to apply.
Let’s cringe, enjoy a drink, and laugh off old embarrassing moments together. We’ll have beer and wine for sale. This event is free, but please RSVP here as capacity is limited.
