We hold this truth to be self-evident: not only do women play an essential role in ensuring the long-term wellbeing of their communities, especially in times of crisis, but we cannot weather the climate impacts we face without their leadership and solutions-building.
That’s why we’re hosting a reoccurring event series for women and non-binary folks who work in climate — in any capacity — to mingle, connect and celebrate each others’ work.
On Wednesday, September 2 at 6p.m., we’re getting together for a light and breezy end-of-summer social to reconnect with familiar faces and make new connections before a busy fall season.
We see it as a chance to gather with the brilliant folks who make up this growing network, hear what everyone’s been up to, swap ideas, and perhaps plant the seeds for a future project or two.
Come mingle, grab some light refreshments and spend one of summer’s last long evenings in very good company!
The registration fee for this event is $5. All proceeds of the event go to Upstart & Crow’s climate programming, including writers’ residencies, book clubs, grants and more. Please RSVP here to reserve your spot.
