How can writing help us imagine a more hopeful, just, and livable world?
Join award-winning author Renee Sarojini Saklikar for an inspiring writing workshop exploring how storytelling can become a source of possibility and action. Drawing from epic fantasy, eco-fables, climate fiction, novels in verse, and journaling, participants will experiment with different forms and approaches to spark creative growth and develop their own writing practice.
Together, we’ll consider how writers can meet the challenges of our moment without losing sight of imagination and hope — and how, step by step, the act of writing can help us envision what might come next.
The registration fee for this event is $10. All proceeds of the event go to Upstart & Crow’s non-profit programming, including writer residencies, book clubs, grants and more. RSVP here.
